Implant Supported Dentures
An implant-supported denture is a type denture that is supported by and attached to implants(tiny screws placed into jaw bone for support).
A regular denture rests on the gums, and is not supported by implants.
An implant-supported denture is used when a person doesn’t have any teeth in the jaw, but has enough bone in the jaw to support implants. It has special attachments that snap onto attachments on the implants.
Just like any other denture one should remove an implant-supported denture daily to clean the denture and gum area and also should not sleep with it.
In some cases, these dentures can also be permanently fixed and considering the particular needs and preferences of the patients we suggest fixed or removable options.

Implant-supported denture will be more stable than a regular denture. The patient finds it easier to speak and one doesn’t have to worry about the denture becoming loose or falling out of your mouth. It is also easier to eat foods that one couldn’t eat before with regular dentures. However, it is still not possible to chew hard or sticky foods because they can damage the denture.
