Partial Denture
A removable partial denture is a denture for a patient with a few missing teeth who desires to have replacement of teeth for functional or aesthetic reasons.
It is also given to patients who cannot have a dental bridge for any reason, such as a lack of required teeth to serve as support for a bridge or financial limitations.
A removable partial denture usually has replacement teeth attached to a metal or acrylic (plastic) base that matches the color of the gums. Partial dentures often have some form of clasp that attaches to natural teeth and can easily be taken out of mouth for cleaning or storing while sleeping.
Overly crowded teeth
This occurs when there is simply a lack of room within your jaw for all of your teeth to fit normally. When left untreated, overly crowded teeth can cause dental decay, an increase in chances of gum disease, and can prevent the normal function of teeth.
Widely spaced teeth:
This occurs with abnormal continued growth of the jaw bone. When teeth are missing, this issue can also be caused by the other teeth shifting due to extra space. Spacing issues in teeth can cause some periodontal diseases.
