WHAT IS ROOT CANAL TREATMENT?
ROOT CANAL TREATMENT (RCT) is the process of cleaning the infected portion of the tooth including nerves and blood vessels. It is done to save the tooth from extraction.
WHEN DO I NEED ROOT CANAL TREATMENT?
RCT is generally needed if the tooth is painful or is extremely sensitive to hot and cold. It can also be needed in cases of broken teeth due to fall or accidents. Sometimes RCT is needed even in cases of no obvious pain or discomfort.
IS ROOT CANAL TREATMENT PAINFUL?
With advancement in medical science, most RCT’s are today painless. However some amount of discomfort is expected and can vary from patient to patient. This can be very easily managed with routine painkillers. Our doctors are extremely qualified and competent to ensure all our procedures are painless.
HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE?
The time taken to perform RCT can vary from single to multiple appointments. This is determined by multiple factors like amount of infection, patient co-operation etc. Generally, for most cases a couple of visits is enough.

My molar which was infected at the root was saved by the doctor which other doctors had suggested for removal. Other molar had to go under RCT treatment and Wisdom tooth was removal by surgical procedure by Dr. Saurabh (Surgeon).During the whole procedures i felt very little pain and doctor was very patient with me. The instructions were very clear before after and during the procedures and that helped me during the RCTs and surgery process. There was hardly any pain as the doctors took extra care during the procedure and went out of their way to accommodate me on short notices(as i was relocating to diff city).
